Infiniti prices QX70 SUV, QX50 crossover for 2015

Base prices for both carryovers rise slightly; QX70 drops V8 engine option.

Infiniti has announced pricing information for its 2015 QX50 and QX70, both of which are carried over from the 2014 model year.

The QX70 crossover now starts at $46,485 (including destination fees), while the QX50 fetches $35,995. The prices mark a slight increase over the 2014 model years, adding $100 and $250, respectively

The QX50 now offers Bluetooth phone functionality as a standard feature on the base models. Despite the slight cost increase, it still maintains a $2,500 savings over the 2013 edition.

The QX70 remains mostly unchanged, though buyers can now opt for a Sport Package that adds dark finish exterior accents, 21-inch dark alloy wheels, adaptive front lighting (AFS) and climate-controlled sport seats.

Both the SUV and Crossover are now solely powered by a 3.7-liter V6, producing 325 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. Notably absent from the QX70 lineup is a 5.0-liter V8, which provided 390 ponies and 369 lb-ft of twist as an optional upgrade for the 2014 model.

Both vehicles are expected to arrive in showrooms later this year.
