Chevy officials on Blue Devil, Camaro production

Chevy officials at the Chicago Auto Show didn't confirm any new details on the much-rumored "Blue Devil" Corvette, but they didn't downplay it, either, reports AutoWeek. "We'd love to have it," said Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager. In recent months, rumors have intensified regarding the new range-topping Vette, which is said to have a supercharged version of the Z06 engine with output around 600 horsepower. AutoWeek also says there's a rumor -- possibly from the same sources -- suggesting produciton of the Chevrolet Camaro Concept has been moved forward, from 2009 to 2008!
