Lincoln LS run will end

Ford will end production of its Lincoln LS sedan next week, according to a report by Automotive News. A total of 262,900 cars have been built since production started in April of 1999. The Lincoln Town Car will continue production next year, when the Wixom plant will be closed. In January, Lincoln unveiled the MKS Concept, which is believed to be the replacement for the LS. The front/all-wheel-drive car is expected to enter production in February 2008.
