Kia Kee concept
After releasing two teaser images earlier this year, Kia has finally unveiled its Kee concept. The coupe follows the styling cues set forth by Kia's ex cee'd cabrio concept car -- both were designed by the former Audi design chief, Peter Schreyer -- and is characterized by its broad stance and low profile.
The Kee uses 2+2 seating arrangement and is 169.3 inches long. According to Automotive News, power comes from 2.0 liter version of Kia's next-generation V6 -- producing 200 horsepower -- and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
"The new Kia Kee is a clear and emphatic statement that the future of the Kia brand is set to be one that will excite and surprise an entirely new audience of consumers," said Peter Schreyer, Ki's design chief, in a statement. "Our sports coupe concept is not simply a flight of fancy but represents an affordable dream for sports car lovers."
Kia officials say the Kee's grill will become the "face of Kia" and will be used across the entire lineup.
