SEMA preview: CGS Ford ReFlex
Customers may not be flocking to Ford dealerships to snatch up the automaker's all-new Flex crossover, but we don't think CGS Motorsports will have much trouble drawing a crowd at next month's SEMA Show in Las Vegas with the company's customized 2009 Ford Flex.
Best known for its cat-back exhaust systems and air intake systems, CGS has been creating one-off SEMA customs -- particularly the Big 3 - over the last several years. This year's entrant into the SEMA how is the company's custom Ford Flex, appropriately dubbed the ReFlex.
Using a 2009 Ford Flex as a starting point, CGS handed the project over to Sean Smith of SS Designs. Smith then dressed the Flex up with custom paint by DuPont, a one-off body kit and unique 22 inch wheels.
The interior features plenty of leather and suede trimmings, a Kicker sound system and a navigation system by Clarion.
No word on any mods under the hood, but we'd put our money on at least a new exhaust and intake system. Check back for more details and live shots after the ReFlex makes its Vegas debut next month.
