2010 Buick Regal: Insignia-based luxury sedan for China revealed

Images have hit the Web of the 2010 Buick Regal for the Chinese market. Essentially a rebadged Opel Insignia, the car will only be offered in China. With sales beginning in October, the Regal will be offered with a 164 horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or a 211 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four.

Reminiscent of America's forthcoming 2010 Buick LaCrosse, the Regal takes on Buick's global design language, despite being a China-specific model.

A version of this car will eventually find its way to American shores in the form of the next Saturn Aura. But that car will have a different feature set and target customer.
