2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic [Live image update]
Porsche used the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show to unveil its latest 911 variant, the 2010 Sport Classic. Although based on the standard 911, the Sport Classic boasts a unique double-dome roof, a special body kit and a 23-horsepower boost. Only 250 examples of the Sport Classic will be produced.
Power now tops out at 408 horsepower thanks to a new resonance intake manifold with six vacuum-controlled switching flaps. A six-speed manual transmission will be the sole option and carbon ceramic brakes are standard. Custom 19-inch alloy wheels with black-painted rim stars set off the 0.79" lower sport suspension.
Inside, the Sport Classic gets special Espresso Nature-colored woven leather trim.
Porsche hasn't said whether the Sport Classic will be sold outside of Europe, where it will list for 169,300 Euros prior to taxes.
