Wiesmann Roadster MF5 makes its Frankfurt debut

Wiesmann, the German sports car maker, revealed its all-new Roadster MF5 earlier on Tuesday at its home Frankfurt Motor Show. As with all Wiesmann vehicles, the Roadster MF5 will be hand built and feature a BMW-sourced powertrain.

Powered by a 507 horsepower BMW V10, Wiesmann says the Roadster MF5 is capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds. Given enough open road, the Roadster MF5 will top out at 192 mph. Stability control and ABS are standard Roadster MF5 equipment, should all that power go to the driver's head.

Only 55 examples of the Wiesmann Roadster MF5 will be produced, with U.S. sales unlike. Further ensuring its exclusivity, the Roadster MF5 will carry a price tag of $276,700.
