Honda announces second recall for 2011 Odyssey minivan

Honda is once again recalling its Odyssey minivan, this time for defective front windows.

Honda is typically known for its impeccable quality but the Japanese automaker is recalling its 2011 Odyssey minivan for the second time in less than two weeks.

Following a windshield wiper-related recall earlier this month, Honda has announced the recall of 2,800 2011 model year Odyssey minivans for a problem with the vehicle's front windows. Honda says it's possible that the van's front driver and passenger side windows could come of their tracks, causing the windows to become inoperative.

The windows could also fall into the door, causing the window to shatter and thereby increasing the risk of injury to passengers.

No injuries have been linked to the recall. Honda dealers will remedy the situation by installing new windows in the recalled vehicles. The recall is expected to begin on April 15.
