Bentley teams with Linley for special edition Continental Flying Spurby Drew Johnson
Bentley has teamed with Linely to produce a limited number of special edition Continental Flying Spurs for the Chinese market.
Bentley is teaming with British design company Linley to create a limited run of 10 Continental Flying Spurs. Showing the importance of the Chinese market, all 10 examples of the limited edition CFS are heading to the world's largest auto market.
The limited edition Continental Flying Spur model will feature Linley veneers in Santos rosewood across the car's dash, center console and doors. The veneers will cover all surfaces typically occupied by Bentley's chestnut or walnut finishes.
Linley will use its signature Linley Helix motif for the limited edition CFS models. Like each Bentley, the veneers are handcrafted by a limited number of skilled artisans.
"It is a great honor to be working alongside such an esteemed British brand as Bentley. Our two brands share a commitment to superlative craftsmanship and design," said David Linley, Chairman of Linley. "I believe that the culmination of our efforts will result in a car that is utterly unique and reflective of the passion that both brands share for pushing boundaries of engineering and excellence."
Additionally, each CFS will be equipped with a Linley humidor in the rear console.
No word on pricing, but expect the limited editions models to carry a hefty premium over the standard Continental Flying Spur.
