Chrysler makes leather, DVD standard on Town & Country
Cloth seats are officially gone from the Chrysler Town & Country and a DVD player is standard
Chrysler moved its upscale minivan even further up the social status ladder last year when it released a thoroughly refreshed Town and Country with a new V6 and a host of other upgrades and now the automaker says that it will drop slow-selling cloth seats and adding a DVD player to the van's standard equipment list.
The automaker previously offered cloth trim on lower-level Town & Countrys, but it says that standard leather across the board is the highlight of its changes for 2012.
In addition, Town & Country becomes the industry's first van range to come standard with a rear-seat DVD player system.
Other changes include new Sapphire Blue interior lighting and, on Limited models, a new wood/leather-trimmed steering wheel.
Three new exterior colors are added to the van's palette of schemes: True Blue, Cashmere Pearl and Crystal Blue.
