Chrysler 200 gets new interior options
Ambassador Blue leather is now available on the 200S, while Mocha leather can be added to the 200C.
FCA has introduced a few new interior options for the Chrysler 200.
The 2015-model-year 200S variant is now available with an Ambassador Blue leather interior, in addition to existing black leather or black cloth with blue leather trim. The 200C trim level adds a premium Mocha leather option, with heated and ventilated front seats, alongside the existing black or linen leather interiors.
"By adding two new interior choices, the Chrysler 200 offers fresh options for the driver who wants a car that exudes a style not typically found in the mid-size sedan segment," said Chrysler brand chief Al Gardner.
The company boasts steady sales growth since the redesigned Chrysler 200 arrived on the market, with March sales up 155 percent compared to the same period last year. The midsize sedan has achieved nine straight months of year-over-year sales increases.
The new 200 has earned top crashworthiness ratings, but FCA's troubled nine-speed automatic transmission has contributed to poor quality ratings for the brand.
The base model sells for $22,890 (including freight), while the 200C fetches an extra $1,500 or more.
