The boutique coachbuilder has turned its attention to more rugged, military-style vehicles.

Rezvani has revealed the Tank, a futuristic SUV that joins the company's range of Ariel Atom-based sports cars.

The California-based coachbuilder does not mention which vehicle is used as a donor, but the interior pictures point to the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as the most likely candidate.

The Wrangler has been extensively reworked with a new body and electrically-actuated suicide doors. A 6.4-liter Hemi crate engine has been installed, bumping output to 500 horsepower.

The Tank boasts a few more traditional Wrangler upgrades, with a choice between two different off-road packages and integrated LED auxiliary lights. Buyers can also opt for thermal night vision systems and armor.

Rezvania is asking $178,000 for the Tank -- quadruple the Wrangler Unlimited base price -- before adding optional equipment.
