2021 Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon to get minor facelift?

Changes are expected to fall short of an official mid-cycle update.

General Motors is reportedly working on a mild facelift for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon.

The company considers the 2021-model-year changes to be modest, not quite rising to the level deserving of a "mid-cycle enhancement" description, unnamed sources have told GM Authority.

The midsize pickups are expected to feature restyled front fascias and perhaps new grilles, while interior changes are said to be minor to nonexistent.

The current generation has been in production for five years but is still at least a few years away from receiving a more extensive redesign. In the meantime, the company will likely roll out more special editions after experiencing strong demand for the Colorado ZR2 Bison (pictured) that arrived earlier this year with a long list of off-road upgrades.
