Aston Martin AM-RB 003 already sold out

If you wanted an AM-RB 003, you're probably out of luck.

Aston Martin's AM-RB 003 is still two years away from production, but the British automaker says the hypercar has already sold out.

Aston Martin plans to build just 500 units of the AM-RB 003, which is bad new for the wealthy clientele clamoring to purchase the hypercar. Aston Martin boss Andy Palmer disclosed in the company's first quarter financial report that demand for the AM-RM 003, which is being co-developed with the Red Bull racing team, has already exceeded 500 units.

"We now have the task of allocating to our customers from an ever-growing list,” Palmer said, according to Autocar.

Aston Martin introduced the AM-RB 003 at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, but the company has yet to divulged the hypercar's details. However, reports have suggested that the AM-RB 003 will be powered by a hybrid-V6 drivetrain capable of generating more than 1,000 horsepower. Performance, as you'd expect, will be phenomenal, with the car said to accelerate from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.
