Aston Martin debuts DB4 GT Zagato Continuation at Le Mans
Only 19 examples will be made, each starting at $7.6 million.
Aston Martin's DB4 GT Zagato Continuation is set to make its first public appearance at 24 Hours of Le Mans later this week.
The company first launched its 'continuation' program in 2017 with the DB4 GT, reviving a classic model for buyers who are willing to pay millions of dollars for a track toy or collection piece.
The DB4 GT Zagato is powered by a 4.7-liter straight-six engine with more than 390 horsepower. It aims to stay true to the original, aside from a few modern touches such as leather-wrapped carbon fiber race seats.
Aston Martin says the cars require around 4,500 hours of artisan craftsmanship to complete.
The company will build just 19 examples of the DB4 GT Zagato, each carrying a price tag equivalent to $7.6 million USD.
