Audi A5, S5 lineup gets styling tweaks, new tech for 2020
US-market specifications will presumably be announced closer to launch.
Audi has refreshed its A5 lineup, revising the coupe, convertible, and Sportback variants for the 2020 model year.
Keeping with tradition, Audi has made only modest changes to the A5 styling. The front end features a flatter grille with a new mesh pattern, while the lower lip gains a more angular form that is reinforced by larger faux air intakes that surround the fog lights.
LED headlights are standard across the range, with Matrix LEDs available as an optional upgrade for Euro-spec cars. The latter package includes LED rear lights with dynamic turn signals and light sequencing.
Drivers are treated to a new 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with acoustic feedback, replacing the rotary pushbutton used in the outgoing A5 series.
The company has not yet detailed powertrain specifications for the US-bound A5 lineup, which will likely carry over the current turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 248 horsepower.
The refreshed A5 trio will likely land in US showrooms sometime in the first half of next year.
