Audi R8 Decennium celebrates 10 years of the V10

Only 222 units will be built, each priced at 222,000 euros in Germany.

Audi has revealed the R8 Decennium, celebrating 10 years since the R8 first received its V10 engine.

The 2009 R8's original 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 delivered 525 horsepower. The Decennium takes advantage of the engine's most powerful modern tuning with 620 ponies and 428 pound-feet of torque, providing enough power to get to 62 mph in 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 206 mph.

The package features unique 20-inch matte bronze wheels and a matching intake manifold, while the front spoiler, side sills, and diffuser are finished in gloss black. Other exterior elements are made from carbon fiber.

Inside, the Decennium edition extends the dark theme with rhombus stitching on the sport seats and contrasting copper stitching.

Only 222 units will be built, each with a starting price of 222,000 euros in Germany.
