Audi refreshes 2020 A4 with minor styling tweaks, hybrid powertrains

The changes are debuting first in Europe.

Audi has revealed the 2020 A4 lineup for Europe, introducing minor styling changes and more hybrid tech.

The refresh features new LED headlights and a revised Singleframe grille with wider proportions. Unsurprisingly for Audi, the aesthetic adjustments are slight.

The company is expanding 12-volt mild hybrid technology across the board, with six turbocharged engines that top out at 342 horsepower (347 PS). The S4 TDI's 3.0-liter diesel engine jumps to a 48-volt system that helps launch the sedan to 62 mph in just 4.8 seconds.

Inside, drivers are treated to Audi's latest 10.1-inch MMI touch display and new interior packages.

An "edition one" variant will kick off the 2020 A4's arrival in Europe, pairing S-line exterior upgrades and a black styling package. Orders begin in May.

Audi has not yet announced availability for other markets including the US.
