Audi teases refreshed R8
The revised front-end appears to feature a larger grille, bigger air intakes and new headlights.
Audi has released the first teaser image of a refreshed R8.
The photo provides a limited view of the coupe's front end, pointing to a larger grille and bigger air intakes. The headlights also appear to be slightly modified.
The second-generation R8 has been in production since 2015, suggesting the images are a mid-cycle update rather than a third-generation full redesign.
"Thrilling performance in every single detail," Audi says in its vague Twitter post, without elaborating.
The company has not detailed any other changes, such as powertrain upgrades or new technology. Additional information could surface ahead of an official unveiling, perhaps in Los Angeles or sometime next year.
