Bentley Bentayga Speed stakes claim as world's fastest production SUV at 190 mph
The luxury SUV can launch to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Bentley has revealed full details of the Bentayga Speed, claimed to be the world's fastest production SUV with a top speed of 190 mph.
Engineers have tweaked the Bentayga's 6.0-liter W12 engine to deliver 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, providing enough oomph to hit 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Complementing the extra power, the exterior has been revised with dark-tint headlights, blacked-out grilles, a tailgate spoiler, and unique 22-inch wheels available in three finishes.
The performance theme continues inside with contrast stitching on the diamond-quilted upholstery and the first use of Alcantara materials in a Bentayga.
Engineers also retuned the Sport mode and stiffened the suspension for a more dynamic driving experience, while the exhaust boasts a greater character than the standard Bentayga.
The Bentayga Speed will make its first public appearance in Geneva next month before arriving in showrooms before the end of the year.
