Bentley reveals GT Convertible Number 1 Edition

The limited-edition model is inspired by the No. 1 Bentley Blower of 1929.

Bentley has revealed its latest exclusive offering, the Continental GT Convertible Number 1 Edition.

Developed by the company's Mulliner division, the Number 1 pays tribute to the No. 1 Bentley Blower of 1929. The modern car features 18 karat gold plated fender badging, while metal from a piston in the original No.1 was used to cast a wheel spinner in the Bentley Rotating Display.

The GT is configured with Bentley's Black Line upgrades and a carbon body kit, with a choice between Dragon Red II or Beluga exterior paint. Inside, the convertible pairs either Cricket Ball or Beluga main hide with a Heritage hide on the seats and door pads.

Only 100 examples will be made, each powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine.

The GT Convertible Number 1 is the final car in Bentley's Centenary Trilogy, following the Mulsanne WO Edition and the Continental GT Number 9 Edition.
