New BMW 3 Series to bow in Parisby Justin King
A new M Performance model has been teased ahead of the official debut.
BMW has confirmed plans to unveil the all-new 3 Series next month in Paris.
The company has posted a few teaser images in the meantime, showing the car beneath a veil and a few closeup angles of an M Performance variant.
The M340i is rumored to have up to 370 horsepower, with xDrive all-wheel drive and a limited-slip differential available as optional upgrades.
The company has already confirmed that the new 3 Series will ride on a wider track. Its chassis has also been lightened and strengthened for improved rigidity.
More details could surface ahead of the October 2 unveiling.
