Leak details 2015 BMW M3, M4 pricing and options

Prices start at $62,000, with eight color choices and a slew of upgrade options.

Details surrounding pricing and upgrade options for BMW's 2015 M3 and M4 appear to have surfaced ahead of schedule.

Dealer pricing guides posted by BMWBlog suggest the redesigned M3 sedan will start at $62,000 (excluding $925 destination charge), while the M4 coupe carries a $64,200 price tag for the base model. European-delivery prices are listed at $57,710 and $59,755, respectively.

Both bodystyles are said to be available in eight colors, including the standards and a few more exotic choices such as Austin Yellow Metallic and Sakhir Orange Metallic, with nine different interior configurations.

The executive package adds a heated steering wheel, rear-view camera, heated front seats, headlight washers, park distance control, heads-up display and Merino leather. Customers can also buy a driver-assistance-plus package with blind-spot detection, lane departure warning, side- and top-view cameras and speed-limit info.

Optional drivetrain upgrades include BMW's dual-clutch automatic transmission, while carbon-ceramic brakes and adaptive M suspension can further improve driving performance. Other a-la-carte provisions include full LED headlights, Harman Kardon audio and 19-inch wheels, among other upgrades.

Both cars will come standard with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six powerplant, producing 431 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, providing 111 lb-ft of extra twist compared to the outgoing V8 mill.

The new M3 and M4 are expected to arrive in showrooms sometime this summer.
