Tracy Morgan's $2M Bugatti sideswiped on maiden voyage by Drew Johnson
The accident occurred just blocks from the dealership.
Funnyman Tracy Morgan wasn't laughing on Tuesday when the $2 million Bugatti Veyron he was driving through Manhattan was sideswiped by a Honda CR-V. Making matters worse, Morgan had just purchased the exotic supercar minutes earlier.
The accident occurred at the intersection of 42nd Street and 10th Avenue when the driver of the CR-V allegedly veered into Morgan's lane, causing the SUV to contact the Bugatti's front fender. A video from the scene showed an irate Morgan exiting his vehicle and confronting the driver of the CR-V.
Morgan was on his maiden Voyage in the Bugatti, having purchased the 2012 Veyron Grand Sport just minutes earlier from Manhattan Motorcars. The dealership is only a 10 minute drive from where the accident occurred.
"He said he got it literally an hour ago and he paid $2 million for it,” witness Chris Ricciardelli, 31, told The Post. "He just bought it, dude, and it's pretty scraped up. It still had a dealer tag.”
Although Morgan's $2 million Veyron was banged up in the accident, neither he nor the driver of the Honda were injured.
