Cadillac shows refreshed 2020 XT5 for US market [LIVE Update]
The crossover has received a new 2.0 turbo engine and updated technology.
Cadillac has detailed the 2020 XT5 refresh after first unveiling the updated crossover in China.
The latest model year features General Motors' 2.0-liter turbo engine, complementing the existing 3.6-liter V6. The four-cylinder mill delivers 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, falling short of the V6's 310 ponies and 271 pound-feet of torque.
Outside, the XT5 has received a slightly bolder grille available in two textures to help distinguish the Luxury and Sport variants. The latter is geared for a more performance-oriented experience, with quicker steering and more aggressive chassis tuning.
The interior has been updated with Cadillac's latest infotainment interface, a new rotary controller with jog functionality, one-touch phone pairing with NFC, USB-C and wireless charging, higher-resolution Rear Vision and Surround Vision cameras, and a choice between two new HD instrument cluster displays.
The 2020 XT5 will arrive in showrooms late summer.
