GM shows 2020 Chevy Silverado HD High Countryby Justin King
The High Country is the top choice among five trim levels for the all-new pickup.
General Motors has revealed the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD's range-topping High Country trim.
Taking inspiration from the recently redesigned Silverado 1500, which is available with eight distinct trim levels, the Heavy Duty pickup will be offered with five different variants: Work Truck, Custom, LT, LTZ and High Country.
Each trim features distinct exterior design elements including unique grilles with either the Chevrolet stamped bar or the Chevrolet bowtie and a mix of black, body color, chrome, or two-tone metallic trim.
"Truck customers are very clear: They want the perfect truck for them and not a 'one size fits most' truck compromised for the masses," says GM VP of global design, Mike Simcoe. "That insight shaped our strategy for the next-generation Silverado franchise, providing customers more differentiation between the Silverado 1500 and the Silverado HD as well as more personalization and differentiation between individual trim levels."
The 2020 Silverado HD will arrive in showrooms by mid-2019.
