Chicago LIVE: Dodge Durango R/T, SRT get new accessories
A new interior accessory package adds genuine carbon fiber on the instrument panel and door handles.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has outlined several new accessories and factory upgrade options for the Dodge Durango R/T and SRT.
Buyers can now add dual center stripes in five 'sinister' colors, extending from the front and rear fascias to the hood, roof and tailgate.
A new interior appearance kit includes authentic carbon fiber on the instrument panel and door bezels, along with a soft-touch headliner and accented speaker rings.
A new bolt-on Mopar exhaust kit is built from stainles steel with four-inch welded, polished tips and stainless installation clamps. Different systems are available for the R/T and SRT, priced at $1,595 and $1,850 respectively.
The company has also created a factory lowering kit, dropping the SUV by around 0.6 inches. Mopar says the new springs have been engineered to match the factory installed dampers. A full kit will be available for $325.
The exhaust systems are available now, while the other accessories and factory-installed items will be available in February or March.
