Dodge Viper gets five limited editions for final production year
Several packages pay tribute to iconic Viper special editions of the past 25 years.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has unveiled five Dodge Viper special editions to commemorate the nameplate's final year of production.
Several of the 25th anniversary models pay tribute to iconic special editions of the past. Each features a unique color scheme and a serialized instrument panel badge that can be customized with the buyer's name.
The Viper 1:28 Edition ACR celebrates the record 1:28.65 lap set by driver Randy Pobst in a 2016 Viper ACR at Laguna Seca Raceway last October. The build is distinguished by a black exterior and painted rear wing with ACR stripes, the Extreme Aero package, carbon ceramic brakes and special decals.
The GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR evokes the 1998 Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition, sharing the same white color scheme with Blue Pearl GTS stripes.
Modeled after the 2010 Viper VooDoo, the new VooDoo II Edition ACR features a black exterior with a graphite metallic driver's stripe and red tracer outline. As many as 31 units will be produced, matching the 2010 model's production run.
The Snakeskin Edition GTC bears a metallic green exterior and patterned SRT stripe. Inspired by the 2010 Snakeskin ACR, the package will also be limited to just 31 units.
The Dealer Edition ACR will be sold exclusively through the highest volume Viper dealers, one in Tomball, Texas, and another in Roanoke, Illinois. It features a white exterior with a Competition Blue center stripe and Adrenaline Red driver stripe.
Customers can begin placing orders for the new special editions on June 24.
