Ford slips Mustang Mach-E pictures, specs ahead of launch
The range-topping GT will apparently hit 60 mph in the mid-three-second range.
Ford appears to have accidentally slipped pictures, specifications and pricing for the upcoming Mustang Mach-E ahead of the official debut on Sunday.
MachEforum member Buzznwood saved screenshots of Ford's official web page for the Mach-E, which has since been taken down.
Confirming earlier rumors and leaks, the Mach-E will be available in both rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations with a wide range of possible EPA range estimates depending on the specific configuration.
The longest-range variants include the Premium and California Rt 1 editions, both of which are expected to be rated at 300 miles. The all-wheel-drive GT package will be the quickest in the lineup, accelerating to 60 mph in the mid-three-second range. It is among the shortest-range configurations with 235 miles, however. The GT will presumably have more power than the Premium Extended Range (ER) RWD variant, which boasts an estimated 333 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque.
The entry-level Select trim will start at $43,985 and offers 230 miles of range with RWD or 210 miles with AWD. The First Edition will fetch $59,900, only slightly below the GT's $60,500 entry point.Ford will formally unveil the Mustang Mach-E via livestream on Sunday night.
