Such an observation could be easy to dismiss, but gauge cluster renderings are apparently an increasingly common way to shed light on high-performance packages without explicitly confirming any numbers.
A separate image posted on Ford's website appears to show the same gauge cluster with '755' across the primary dials. As noted by Carscoops, the same shot coincidentally indicated the '455'-horsepower figure for the basic 2018 Mustang lineup.
The GT500 is expected to make its official debut sometime early next year.
