Honda Ridgeline, Passport 'Adventure Lifestyle Projects' highlight overland accessories

Upgrades range from lift kits to rooftop tents.

Honda has revealed a pair of extensively customized overland-adventure vehicles, known as the Passport and Ridgeline Adventure Lifestyle Projects.

Developed via collaboration with Jsport, the Passport Adventure Lifestyle Project boasts a lift kit and 18-inch wheels shrouded in Nitto RidgeGrappler tires. A front skid plate and revised bumper help protect against damage from brush or terrain obstacles.

For long-haul overland adventures, Honda placed a Roofnest Sandpiper rooftop tent on the SUV's top rack.

The Ridgeline Adventure Lifestyle Project features similar customization including skid plates, off-road tires, and a leveling kit. A Honda generator has been mounted in the bed to power electrical accessories.

The adventure vehicles and other Honda powersports equipment will be on display at the 2019 Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona.
