NY preview: 2019 Infiniti Q50 Signature Edition

The special edition model arrives this May.


As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Infiniti has announced a new special edition of its Q50 sedan. Know as the 2019 Q50 Signature Edition, the luxury sedan will make its formal introduction at the New York auto show.

The Q50 Signature Edition rides on unique 19-inch wheels and also features a number sport design cues. Q50 Signature Edition buyers will have the option of five paint colors -- Black Obsidian, Graphite Shadow, Liquid Platinum, Pure White and Iridium Blue.

Inside the Q50 Signature Edition gets leather seats and Kacchu aluminum trim. Standard features include heated seats, the ProASSIST pack and navigation.

All Q50 Signature Edition models will be powered by a 3.0L twin turbocharged V6 producing 300 horsepower.

"Since Infiniti Motor Company launched 30 years ago, our primary goal was to deliver a truly luxury experience with every moment spent behind the wheel," said Tim Franklin, director, Infiniti Product Planning. "The 2019 Q50 Signature Edition highlights this focus as we combine the award-winning VR-series engine with unique design details and our most popular features into one package.”

Pricing for the 2019 Infiniti Q50 Signature Edition hasn't been announced. The special edition sedan will arrive in dealer showrooms this May.
