Kia teases Mohave SUV's stylish interior
Rumors suggest the Mohave could eventually land in US showrooms.
Kia has released a teaser sketch showcasing the forthcoming Mohave SUV's modern interior.
The 2020 Mohave will be going on sale next month in the company's home market of Korea, where it is positioned as a premium body-on-frame SUV.
The model was briefly sold in the US as the Borrego, debuting in 2008 but quickly departing from American showrooms before the second-generation Sorento began rolling off the assembly line in Georgia.
Designers appear to have thoroughly reworked the Mohave's interior for the 2020 model year. The dashboard now flows smoothly across the cabin, integrating large digital displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system.
The Korean automaker has not mentioned if the Mohave will be sold in the US. Such a move may not be likely if the company views the Mohave as a cannibalization risk for Telluride sales among American buyers.
