"We wanted to move away from the rational," says Kia Motors Europe design VP Gregory Guillaume.

Kia has posted several more teaser photos for its electric vehicle concept ahead of an official debut in Geneva.

The concept represents the brand's first all-electric four-door passenger car, "intentionally designed to not sit within the industry's predefined vehicle categories" by blending elements of crossovers and family sedans.

The design includes an adaptation of Kia's 'tiger nose' grille into an illuminated 'tiger mask' that encircles the headlights and spans the width of the front end.

A collection of 21 individual dashboard displays is said to be a "humorous riposte to the industry's current obsession with ever increasing dashboard screens."

The concept will be revealed on March 5.
