Land Rover's Teen Drive Experience will teach 14-year-old kids off-road skills
An extended session includes a small water crossing along with mud and ruts.
Land Rover has launched a new Teen Drive Experience program that will introduce the world of off-road driving to kids as young as 14 years old.
For participants with no prior driving experience, the one-hour session focuses more on vehicle familiarization and driving on a dirt road with simple challenges such as hill ascents/descents and low-articulation obstacles.
Those with a bit of time behind the wheel already can opt for the extended session, which includes a small water crossing and allows the teen driver to traverse mud and ruts.
The program will be available at all three US Land Rover Experience Centers in Carmel, California; Manchester, Vermont; and Asheville, North Carolina. Pricing is set at $275 for the introductory experience and $425 for the advanced session.
