Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition returns for 2020
Production has nearly doubled to 150 units.
Lincoln is bringing back the Continental Coach Door Edition for the 2020 model year.
Introduced last year to celebrate the brand's 80th anniversary, the small-batch sedan has been modified with center-opening 'suicide' doors and rides on a stretched wheelbase to maximize passenger comfort.
Back-seat passengers can take advantage of a table on the center console, along with a pair of tablet holders and individual climate controls. The interior is filled with premium materials, mostly matching the standard Continental's range-topping Black Label trim.
The 2019 edition's limited run of 80 units sold out in just two days. The 2020 model year will bring an increase to around 150 examples, each carrying a $115,470 price tag -- a nearly $40,000 premium over the regular Continental Black Label.
Orders are open now through the end of the month, with deliveries expected to begin by spring 2020.
