Lotus Evora GT arrives in US market
Replacing the Evora Sport 410 and 400, the new GT fetches $96,950.
Lotus has announced US launch plans for the 2020 Evora GT, which serves as a replacement for the Evora Sport 410 and Evora 400.
Available in two-seater and 2+2 configurations, the GT boasts more power than its predecessors with 416 ponies and 332 pound-feet of torque when purchased with an automatic transmission. The manual gearbox steps down to 317 pound-feet of torque.
A long list of lightweight carbon-fiber components come standard, with a curb weight of 3,104 pounds in its most featherweight configuration. Revised aerodynamics increase downforce to 141 pounds, double that of the Evora 400.
The Evora GT will carry a $96,950 entry price when it lands in US showrooms.
