Mazda teases new compact crossover for Geneva debut
Pending official identification, speculation points to the CX-3 as a likely candidate.
Mazda has revealed the first teaser image for a new crossover that will make its official debut in Geneva.
The darkened shot appears to show the rear end of a compact model, perhaps a new or updated CX-3, though its precise identity has not yet been officially confirmed.
The Japanese automaker promises the mystery model will feature a "more mature" Kodo design language and the company's latest-generation Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture. It will also take advantage of the innovative Spark Plug Controlled Compression Ignition (SPCCI) engine technology.
Additional details will be revealed on March 5.
