McLaren Denver commissions 600LT Spider Pikes Peak Collection
The six cars were customized by McLaren Special Operations.
McLaren has revealed a Pikes Peak Collection of six 600LT Spider cars commissioned by the company's Denver showroom.
Each example has been customized by McLaren Special Operations with gold and matte black vinyl stripes over the hood and roof, along with Satin Speedline Gold wheels.
The theme carries through to the interior, with a Satin Gold center band on the steering wheel and matching paddle shifters. Upholstery has also been assembled with gold contrast stitching.
The 600LT Spider is the most extreme car in McLaren's Sports Series lineup, delivering 592 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque from its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8. The car can launch to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.
The company did not mention pricing for the Pikes Peak Collection, though they presumably fetch a premium over the 600LT's $256,500 base price.
