McLaren highlights Speedtail customization potentialby Justin King
The three examples showcase color and material combinations for the 250-mph 'Hyper-GT.'
McLaren has released more photos of the upcoming Speedtail, aiming to inspire buyers who will face an "almost limitless range of personalization."
The colors and materials 'inspiration stories' start with the Stratosphere, featuring a gloss full visual carbon fiber body with a metallic blue interior. Platinum badging and navy contrast stitching help complete the look.
The Astral theme is said to be inspired by the UK's nautical heritage with a blue-dominated interior and orange exterior, featuring 18K white gold badging and a silver pinstripe.
The Bloodline edition embraces a red exterior contrasting against gloss black wheels, silver brake calipers, copper edging and white passenger seats.
The Speedtail represents the most powerful and fastest McLaren ever, following in the iconic F1's footsteps with a 1036-horsepower hybrid powertrain and 250+ mph top speed. Deliveries as expected to begin early in 2020.
