McLaren shows off upcoming Grand Tourer

The GT will debut on April 30.

McLaren has posted a few pictures of its upcoming 'rule-breaking' Grand Tourer.

The latest pictures remove some of the faux body panels used to obscure earlier development prototypes. The cars are still wrapped in a simple camouflage pattern, however.

Billed as the "McLaren of Grand Tourers," the new model aims to be a more comfortable long-distance cruiser than the company's more track-focused offerings.

The GT won't be part of McLaren's existing model series. Its name will presumably be announced later this month for the April 30 reveal.
