Mitsubishi previews 2020 Outlander Sport ahead of Geneva

The company has sold 1.3 million Outlander Sport crossovers since the model was added to the lineup a decade ago.

Mitsubishi has previewed the refreshed 2020 Outlander Sport, due to make its global debut next month in Geneva.

The Outlander Sport's exterior has been revamped with a new front fascia, bringing the crossover into line with Mitsubishi's latest Dynamic Shield design language. The new styling aims to make the hood deeper and project a stronger presence at the front end. New LED headlights reinforce the look, moving the turn signals and fog lamps to the ends of the bumper.

Out back, new LED lamps stretch across the width of the vehicle to project a wider stance. Designers have also made a few adjustments to the interior, centering around a slightly larger eight-inch infotainment display.

The Outlander Sport is Mitsubishi's best-selling nameplate in the US market, with more than 1.3 million global sales since the crossover arrived a decade ago.
