Nissan teases 370Zki one-off snow machine
The concept presumably follows in the footsteps of Nissan\'s other track-equipped concepts, including the Juke Nismo RSnow.
Nissan is apparently preparing another snow-track one-off, the 370Zki, to debut at the Chigaco Auto Show.
Pronounced '370-Ski,' the coupe is presumably equipped with a pair of snow-tracks and a central ski, enabling the sports car to carve up snow-covered mountains.
The company appears to have developed a fetish for such concepts in recent years. The Juke Nismo RSnow appeared in 2015, followed by a family of 'Winter Warriors' including the Pathfinder, Murano and Rogue.
Rather than filling out the SUV lineup with a snow-modified Armada, Nissan has now tackled a more interesting challenge with the 370Z.
Several companies offer retrofit kits that can be installed on a wide range of vehicles. American Track Truck's systems replace the wheels, while Track N Go offers drive-on tracks that claim to be installable in just 15 minutes.
