Nissan Leaf Nismo set for market arrival in Japan
The sporty new Leaf variant features modified suspension components and unique styling inside and out.
Nissan has confirmed plans to begin selling the Leaf Nismo in Japan later this month.
The Nismo edition features revised programming for the power steering, braking, corner stabilization, anti-lock braking and vehicle dynamics control systems. Engineers have also tweaked its suspension for a more engaging experience.
On the outside, the package boasts 18-inch wheels with stickier tires and a characteristic Nismo color scheme with red accents. On the inside, drivers are treated to an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and contrast stitching.
Nissan has not mentioned if the Leaf Nismo will be sold in other markets such as the US.
