Nissan builds new RB26 engines for Skyline GT-R

The Nismo division's Heritage parts program continues to expand.

Nissan's Nismo unit has reportedly expanded its Heritage parts program to include full engines for three generations of the Skyline GT-R.

Known as the RB26, the turbocharged 2.6-liter inline-six engine was originally manufactured for more than a decade for the R32-, R33- and R34-generation Skyline GT-R.

The latest additions include new blocks and cylinder heads. Other parts available or on the way include wipers, wiper motors, fluid tanks, engine harnesses, fuel pumps, fenders, spoilers, muffler assemblies, roof panels, air compressors and bumpers.

Most of the new parts are expected to arrive beginning April 1.
