Man 'having a bad day' crashes car into Porsche dealer, fills showroom with burnout smoke

The incident is said to have caused up to $100,000 in damage to several cars and the building.

Toronto police have arrested a man who crashed his car into a downtown Porsche dealership.

The Toyota smashed through a glass window and slammed into two new Porsche cars on display. The driver then allegedly revved his engine and filled the showroom with burnout smoke. He is also accused of using a permanent marker to further vandalize one of the cars.

When confronted by an employee, the 20-year-old driver responded "I'm just having a bad day," according to CityNews. Police said the driver and his girlfriend had recently broken up.

The driver was detained and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and mischief. Damage to the cars and building is estimated to be worth up to $100,000 CAD ($75,000 USD).
