2019 Ram Heavy Duty lineup gets Laramie Longhorn trimby Justin King
The luxurious Southwestern-theme package features wood surfaces, full-grain leather seats and steel trim.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has revealed the Laramie Longhorn trim for its new 2019 Ram 2500 and 2500 Heavy Duty pickups.
Focusing on premium materials, the Laramie Longhorn boasts full-grain leather upholstery and an alligator-skin texture embossed on the center console, instrument panel, seats and door-panel inserts.
Genuine "barn-wood" accents are placed throughout the cabin, while satin chrome and brushed nickel elements complement the natural materials. The luxurious appointments are even highlighted at night via ambient lighting.
Designers have not ignored the exterior, adding a chrome-slat grille and matching bumpers. Buyers can choose from two-tone color options including two-tone themes, with a variety of finishes for 20-inch wheels.
The new Heavy Duty pickups feature up to 1,000 pound-feet of torque, a maximum 35,100-pound tow rating and up to 7,680 pounds of payload.
