Ram 1500 takes flight, crashes through garage roof

The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

A Wisconsin man has been arrested after crashing his Ram 1500 into a Town of Beloit residence from the air.

Witnesses reported that the driver lost control of his truck "at a high rate of speed" and struck a water-retaining ditch, causing the vehicle to go airborne and smash through the roof of a nearby garage.
Homeowner Joseph Nyre was watching a Badgers game in his "man cave" when the truck came through the roof approximately 12 feet from where he was sitting, coming to rest on an Audi convertible, according to the Beloit Daily News.
The driver was extracted from the truck without any serious injuries, though he was quickly arrested for driving under the influence, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
