Rolls-Royce builds bespoke Dawn inspired by Ferrari collection

Google exec Benjamin Sloss has commissioned a custom yellow-and-blue droptop.

Google executive and car collector Benjamin Sloss has taken delivery of a custom Rolls Royce Dawn Black Badge.

The luxury convertible sports a bright yellow and dark blue paint scheme that reflect Sloss's personal taste in cars. The vice president of engineering at Google already owns a Ferrari FXX K, 599 GTO, 599XX, LaFerrari Aperta, and 458 Challenge all finished in yellow and blue as well.

Rolls Royce calls the yellow Superflare, because of the way it glows under the California sun in which Sloss plans to drive the car. Sloss is also a fan of the Pikes Peak hillclimb, so a hue called Pikes Peak Blue finishes the contrasting hood and windshield surround. Inside, the deep blue continues on the leather upholstery and the piano wood used on the steering wheel. Yellow detailing swirls throughout, on the dash, console and seat piping.

The car was presented to Sloss at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance last week. The look doesn't translate spectacularly from a Ferrari race car to a luxury road yacht, but perhaps that's the point. Rolls Royce's Bespoke program can build a car however you want, as long as you have the money.
